Membership isn't
required to attend our events but individuals who join the
New York Chapter enjoy several distinct membership benefits
including:
- Reduced admission to all EGB events
- Reduced admission prices for select USGBC New York
Chapter sponsored and/or co-sponsored events
- Access to the most current information on green
building/high performance building and sustainable building
- Free one year subscription (a $199 value) to the
BuildingGreen Suite. The BuildingGreen Suite is a terrific
source for information on green construction and
design,with three premiere information resources. Product
reviews, feature articles, news, and opinion from
Environmental Building News are cross-referenced with
product listings from GreenSpec and project case studies
from the High Performance Buildings Database...all
searchable by CSI MasterFormat(tm) divisions, LEED credits,
or by Green Topics.
In order to join the Chapter as an Emerging Green Builder
you must be currently in school or within 5 years of
graduation. The membership fee for EGB is $25.00. If you
don't meet these criteria there are other membership
options available. If your company is a USGBC National
Member we encourage you to join as a Member for $50 which
gets you Chapter voting privilages. For additional
