JUDGING
There will be two phases of judging in the 2007
competition. The first will take place at the local level
on or before June 15, 2007. Judging at the national level
will take place at Greenbuild in Chicago, IL, by an
esteemed panel of green building experts.

Note that international
entrants, should they win the competition at the local
level, will be awarded comparable stipends to aid in their
travel to Greenbuild for the National judging. The entire
cost may not be covered.

*Named in honor of founding USGBC Board member Asher
Derman. Dr. Derman was an early champion of green
buildings, and a mentor to many, holding several local
faculty positions, as well as serving New York City design
professionals as an environmental consultant.
